L. Loretta White, 76, of Autumn Leaf Village, Keene, died Tuesday at Sanborn (Maine) Goodall Hospital.
She was born in Providence, RI, Nov. 4, 1921, daughter of Oscar and Floreda (Beland) Helie, attended Keene High School and lived in Keene most of her life.
Mrs. White worked at Troy Mills, Homestead Woolen Mills and the former Wallisford Mill, and was also in the restaurant business. Survivors include two sons, George A. Lee of Roswell, N.M., and Brian R. Lee of Lubbock, Texas; two daughters, L. Ann Dyer of Sanford and Hettie Marie Douglas of Fort Pierce, Fla.; a brother, Norman Helie of Keene; two sisters, Anita DesJardins and Elaine Duquett, both of Swanzey; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Earl Helie and Robert Helie, died earlier. The funeral will be Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Fletcher Funeral Home, 33 Marlboro St. Keene. Burial will follow in Monadnock View Cemetery, West Keene. Friends may call Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. |
