A tribute published in the pages of Wanda Jean Podmore, 17, of 350 Kirby Loop Road, died Sunday, April 22, as the result of an auto accident in Pascagoula, Miss. She was a native of Keene, N.H. and came to Fort Pierce from Colorado Springs, Colo., in January 1984. She was a clerk at Kentucky Fried Chicken and was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Hettie and John Douglas of Fort Pierce, her father, Richard Podmore of Vermont; three sisters, Sherie and Angela Podmore of Fort Pierce and Wendy Woodruff of New York; maternal grandmother, Loretta White of Winchester, N.H.; paternal grandmother, Gladys Taylor of Winchester; stepgreat-grandparents, Jessie and Lois Henderson of Fort Pierce; and stepgrandmother, Beatrice Douglas of Fort Pierce. The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Baird Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Bruce Jones, associate paster of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in White City Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. |
